Nuffnang will be giving out 40 pairs of tickets to catch the preview screening o f the movie, “UP".

This is the my first Nuffnang contest that i have participated. Cause i think this "UP" movie really interests me and motivates me to blog on it. I do watch the trailer in the cinema nowadays and it really leaves me a deep impression.

Do you know why this movie catch my attention?
Especially for the 2 characters name Carl and Russell

About Russell
He is an overly optimistic 8 years old boy whom i think he is too adventurous to try out everything. He has too many Wilderness Explorer Badges like First Aid, Second Aid, Zoology and Master of Disguise. In order to achieve the coveted rank of Senior Wilderness Explorer, he targeted Carl as his elder and would like to be his assistant. Through Carl, he will be encountering a lifetime experience that he had dreamt about.


About Carl
He is a 78 years old retired balloon salesman. He was being forced to leave his house which he and his late wife built together. The house is his memories. Thus, instead of moving to an Old Folks Home, he decided to tie thousands of balloons onto his house and decided to leave the place with his house flying in the sky being untouched. Surprisingly, there is an uninvited guest who is Russell. From there on, Carl and Russell have to overcome several obstacles in order to land safety or to protect Carl's house.

The above is just a brief description of them and is based on my own words and thinkings.

I think the most funny and hilarious part is whereby when they are still in the air, Carl do not have any idea where to go and where they are. Russell then says he got a GPS device which can easily track and locate the place. But unfortunately, Russell is so careless that he stretched his arm outside the house's window and dropped the device.
If you have watched the trailer, you would have noticed their facial expression when the GPS device is landing to the earth. It's so comical and was amazed by his actions. How could he be so careless! Hahaha...
